What the law imposes
On player protection, Belgium sits more tightly than the Netherlands or France with effects you cannot route around. By default €200 per week per site may go in.
Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Reversing it is not immediate. Since 1 September 2024 the minimum age is 21 for casino, gaming hall and betting; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. A trial account falls under it too.
